Ferris Bueller

Just to point out, in case it isn't obvious, I tend to write my entries about the day before. Most people write about that day in their diaries at night, I write about it the next day for a few reasons:
1. My stupid comp and internet that I pay like crazy for doesn't work in my apt.
2. I like to sleep on things cuz they always look different in the morning.
3. There is plenty of extra time at work when I am utterly bored and this is something to fill the days.
I was exhausted yesterday from not catching up Sunday night for my staying up till 6 am on Saturday. I really wanted to go the NAC performance of the play The Day Einstein Died but I had no one to go with and didn't want to go alone. I had to stay at work later than I anticipated so I missed going to the cleaners. I ended up just going home, cooking dinner and watched the rest of Ferris Bueller's Day Off that I had started watching with #2. It's a really good movie, they don't make movies like they did in the 80's anymore. A young Matthew Broderick plays Ferris and it was written and directed by John Hughes. There's not really any other famous people in it ( maybe they were famous in the 80's?) except for Charlie Sheen who plays the teenage druggie in the police station who makes out with Ferris's sister. Principal Rooney is really freaky, and he gets screwed in the end, its the perfect ending tho I would have liked to see what happened when Cameron's rich dad came home and saw his car wrecked.
My life seems to consist of work, watching movies alone and once a week going out with my friends to a party or something. I wish I could have a relationship with someone, a friend or boyfriend where we could do intellectual, artsy, and cultural things together. I miss that. Or even just someone to watch movies with.
